After seeing a spec video that we produced for them, featuring real couples and their entertaining, camera-friendly marriage proposals, Robbins Brothers commissioned us to create a series of UGC-powered commercial spots that would support their new brand campaign “When You’re Ready We’re Here” and drive traffic into stores with special offers during their peak selling season.
Thus, we set out on the oftentimes tear-jerking quest to find and and license heartwarming, romantic footage that we could use for spots that would be played across broadcast/cable in multiple markets and nationally via social media. This was a fun challenge and we were amazed by the level of effort some people went to for these magic moments in their lives. And how many people capture it all on camera. And then there were the fails. But we left those ones out of the final cut.
Since launching, the new spots have proven to be extremely successful in raising positive awareness of the Robbins Brothers brand and driving sales through year-end and Valentine’s Day offers.
